How to change the extension of any file in Windows
For some purposes we need to change or sometimes remove the extensions of files. All the files have some extensions. The extensions are last 3-4letters of files which helps the operating system to determine the application for opening that particular file.
For example, all notepad files have ".txt" extensions and open with Notepad, PDF files have ".pdf" extension and opens with Adobe Reader, power point presentations have ".ppt" etc.

As windows 8 is not build fully, many of antivirus and security softwares do not work with windows 8, some may not install saying compatibility issue like comodo firewall and some may not get their updates, like Avira.
